這個(gè)技巧非常適用于描述大地點(diǎn)，即大家碰到關(guān)于大地點(diǎn)的題目都可以往這四個(gè)方面套。但是大家看到這個(gè)點(diǎn)其實(shí)非常抽象，所以還是要化抽象為具體進(jìn)行拓展。具體怎么運(yùn)用我們看例題：

Describe a country you would like to visit(not your own country).

這道題目不是今年的新題，去年下半年考得比較熱門。很多學(xué)生說，我沒去過這個(gè)國(guó)家啊，怎么辦，感覺沒話講。那必須得編了。

按照4E，第一步首先描述這個(gè)國(guó)家的教育，大家看到教育應(yīng)該如條件反射地想到這個(gè)國(guó)家的以下設(shè)備設(shè)施：university, library,museum. 然后開始進(jìn)行拓展：well, there are a bunch of universities in Japan, such as TokyoUniversity. If there is any chance, I would like to study there and make localfriends. In addition, the museums are well-known around the world and I willvisit the local museum and learn some history in Japan.說到教育大家要具體到某個(gè)機(jī)構(gòu)，接下來就是加個(gè)人色彩，即如果有機(jī)會(huì)去的話，我會(huì)如何如何。這樣也很好地講自己融入到這個(gè)地點(diǎn)當(dāng)中，不會(huì)顯得很枯燥乏味。

第二步就是娛樂。這個(gè)部分學(xué)生說得比較流利而且思路很廣。娛樂這一塊我們也可以找一些通用的萬能的例子，例如食物：In addition, I’mreally a big fan of the Japanese cuisine, such as sushi, wasabi and sashimi. Iwill taste the local food there and they are tasty and wholesome.其實(shí)娛樂還有很多例子，比如the country is a shopping paradise; my favourite star is Japanese;I’m totally into cartoons in Japan…大家可以找每個(gè)國(guó)家的一些共性的東西，另外還有這個(gè)國(guó)家的一些特色,相信這個(gè)部分學(xué)生不會(huì)沒有話講的。

第三步就是經(jīng)濟(jì)。這一部分學(xué)生覺得很難，除了說這個(gè)國(guó)家經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)達(dá)沒有話了。其實(shí)說到經(jīng)濟(jì)大家可以自然想到這個(gè)國(guó)家有很多摩天大樓，并且有很多著名的企業(yè)，然后說自己一直很向往將來可以進(jìn)這些公司工作等等。比如還是以日本為例：theeconomy is Japan is boosting fast. A lot of skyscrapers are settled in the citycenter and there are tons of enterprises in Japan, for example, sony, toshibaand nikon. I’m fond of the electronic devices of sony and I always dream to workin such company after graduation. What’s more, Japanese young people arehard-working and ambitious. I want to make local friends there.
